Laurent Cantoni

My fields of expertise

Member of the Paris bar association, I assist companies and their managers in their tax planning and related issues, in France and abroad.

In particular, I work with group of companies in order to assess their taxable income in France and advise them in their M&A transactions and reorganization plans. My clients are SMBs, family-owned businesses as well as listed companies (in the banking sector).    

I also assist private clients and managers for the tax structuring of their financial and real estate investments. I work closely with them or with their family office.

When needed, I represent their interests in case of tax audit or litigation with the French tax authorities.

My secondments within a foreign industrial group as well as in a French listed bank have sensitized me to the importance of providing my clients with practical solutions.

I teach tax law within the school of the Paris bar association (Ecole de Formation du Barreau de Paris) and regularly give courses to professionals (accountants, internal auditors, in-house tax advisers, asset managers).

Avant de fonder le cabinet C&C Avocats, j’ai exercé :

• for 3 years within the law firm CMS Francis Lefebvre in Paris as counsel ; 

• for 4 years with the law firm PwC in Paris as manager ;

• for 2 years as an in-house tax adviser.
